Wow! Great week at the scale!

I got a GREAT surprise when I got on the scale this morning -- another 7 lb gone for a total of 28 in five weeks. I'm very happy! I had "digestion issues" last week that slowed the weightloss a bit... but that resolved itself this week (I'm much less cranky! Ha!) and it showed up on the scale.

Onward and upward, as they say! Or should I say "downward"? ;-)

No excuses!

Brian, I don't know how you are doing it but but keep are a great loser buddy!!!!!!!!!!
I have never known anyone to lose THAT much in that timespan-your body must like you!

Well I'm being quite purist in my approach. No low-carb baked goods, candy, etc. All natural stuff - lots of fish, etc. My George Foreman Grill also allows me to really get rid of a lot of unnecessary fat from beef, etc. I'm not watching fat at all, but why ingest hundreds of extra empty calories per day? Every week, I throw out a large coffee can of saturated fat. Scary! I will likely begin to incorporate some low-carb muffins, etc., but they will take a hike if I notice that I'm just being tempted by other things. So far, the purist approach is working, but I am going to try to add some things in. Thanks for your support! (Keep in mind that men tend to lose faster and I have a LOT of weight to lose, so that helps in the speed of loss, as well.

Wow! Thanks so much for the nice comments. I highly recommend the new grill. So much easier to clean, let me tell ya. I'm using it several times per week. Great for frozen hamburger patties, steaks and kabobs!
