Week #42: Remained the same again for a total of -96 lb

Well, I maintained a -96 lb loss for the second week in a row. Believe it or not, I was pleasantly surprised... not that I was eating anything terribly wrong... but certain issues popped up - uhm - intestinally - that I assumed would have contributed to a gain. Let's just say that things are pretty much seized up. Annoying, but I'll survive. I'm thinking that there was really a loss there had things been working properly.

Obviously, that's more information than anyone needs to know, but that's one of the problems some people have on a low-carb diet: constipation. Might as well just come out and say it. We're all adults here, right?

Anyway, I'll keep up my intake of water and increase my vegetable and fibre intake so as to try and get things back to normal.

I'm also quite proud of myself for sticking to the plan this week since - for the very first time - I was somewhat tempted to stray due to an extremely stressful event that took place during the past week. But I stuck to it - because being tempted is still NO EXCUSE to cheat... ever! It would have only made things worse.

And that's my motto... No excuses!
