Week #122: Gained +2.5 lb for a total of -104 lb

Have done an impression of a yo-yo the past couple of weeks, but remain on track.

I had parsnips at my mother's place on Thanksgiving. Only the second or third time I've ever had them. Someone please tell me these are allowed... my God, they're delicious!

Made a low-carb pumpkin cheesecake last night. If it's good, I'll post the recipe this week! Haven't been posting enough recipes lately! It certainly looks and smells good! I'll try it when I get home from work tonight.

I am not sure what level of carbs you are working with but here is the nutritional information for 1 cup of cooked parsnips , boiled and drained

calories- 113
fat-0
total carbs 27
fiber 6 g
sugars 8 g
protien 2 g

and 34 percent RDA vitamin C

I agree with you- they are DELISH ! As a child we had them often and we kids were told that they were puppy dog tails. We definitely would have eaten them without a silly name !
