Week #90: Gained +2.5 lb for a total of -109.5 lb

Every week, I place a photo in my weekly weigh-in entry. This week, it was either a panic button like this or something a bit more inspiring.

I went with inspiring.

This is a war, after all. It's not about me as a victim pushing the panic button like I have no control over anything and I need someone to come to my rescue. I rejected that mentality a long time ago and it is no longer an option.

No. It's a war and I'm the general - a general for whom losing the battle is not an option.

So I've gained 4.5 lb in the past two weeks for a total of 8.5 lb since my lowest weight reached before Christmas. Since Christmas, it's been a bit of a struggle.

Luckily, the struggle hasn't been with high-carb foods. I haven't started eating sugar again, or bread, or anything like that. I've just been eating too much.

With that said, I'm calling an all-out war. There is NO WAY that this weight will creep back on. It's just not going to happen. In June, it will have been TWO YEARS since I started low-carbing, so I know what to do. Sometimes, though, you get a bit lax when things have been going well and start to get into some bad habits: like too much high-calorie (yet low-carb) food.

I repeat: Just because it's low-carb doesn't mean you can eat all you want. It just doesn't work that way.

So it's back to the basics and no more screwing around.

It's war. I'm the general. Losing the war is not an option.

Regular weight losses start again next Monday.

CHARRRRRGE!!!!

No excuses!
