Week #130: Lost -1 lb for a total of -102 lb

Well, if I can hold off an urge to chow down on all those shelled nuts in the stores over the holidays, I should maintain the -100+ lb weight loss for Christmas. I'm bound to treat myself to some, but there's always a limit.

Actually, I prefer the shelled nuts over the ones that are ready-to-eat. Why? Simple... at least you have to work for them! I can guarantee you that the calories ingested after 10 minutes of shelling nuts will be much lower over 10 minutes of eating the ready-to-eat kind, which can literally be eaten by the handful!

Just because it's the holiday season doesn't mean it's time to drop all your willpower! Stock up on low-carb holiday fare and don't give in to people urging you to break your diet at Christmas.

It's like I tell people... I can guarantee you that Baby Jesus isn't going to love you any more if you chow down on boat-loads of sugar over the holidays.

Check out some of the many low-carb recipe websites available to you! Ask for low-carb cookbooks for Christmas! You'd be shocked at what you can make and still remain true to low-carb!
